burstHAR privacy policy

Effective date: May 23, 2026

burstHAR is a Chrome extension for capturing, reviewing, replaying, and exporting web request information while you use the browser.

Data the extension handles

When you choose to capture traffic, burstHAR can process request URLs, request and response metadata, request bodies, response bodies, headers, timestamps, status codes, and related HAR-style debugging data from pages you visit.

Where data is stored

Captured data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome extension storage. Burstbytes does not operate a server that receives, stores, sells, or shares your captured request data.

Permissions

burstHAR requests access to browser tabs, scripting, storage, unlimited storage, and page URLs so it can observe and capture requests on pages where you use the tool.

Payments

The extension may use ExtensionPay for licensing or payment status. Payment processing and account information are handled by ExtensionPay, not by Burstbytes.

Third parties

burstHAR does not sell personal information. Data may be processed by Chrome, the Chrome Web Store, or ExtensionPay as part of normal extension installation, browser operation, payment, or licensing flows.
